YSR Congress Party’s Gannavaram contestant Vallabhaneni Vamshi is facing a tough time in his own constituency ahead of the elections.
His own party member Dutta Ramachandra Rao refused to work for Vamshi. Many of his supporters have switched to the TDP and are working for its candidate, Yarlagadda Venkatrao.
Many other YCP leaders, including Gannavaram Vice MPP and a few other Sarpanches from the Bapulapadu mandals, have shifted to the Telugu Desam Party.
Especially, Vamshi’s close aides, who have been working for him for years, are now leaving him to support Yarlagadda. Gannavaram’s former AMC chairman Potluri Basavarao recently joined TDP along with a lot of his supporters.
The list includes Gannavaram Deputy Sarpanch, Vijaya Diary Director Paladugu Nani, Bibigudem’s key leaders Basavapurnayya and Boyapati Bulliah.
