Vardah Brings Cheer to Seema

Cyclone Vardah danger passed off to Andhra Pradesh without much damage. The Cyclone Landfall changed in the last moment saving lives and properties in Andhra Pradesh. Keeping the damage aside, the cyclone has brought in copious amounts of rainfall to several parts of the parched Rayalaseema.

All the major and minor reservoirs in various districts are full to the brim. Chittoor district for an instance received almost 25 percent of the annual rainfall on a single day. The flora in Seshachalam forest came to life following heavy rainfall in the last two days.

The farm ponds dig by the farmers with the help of the state government are all full to the brim and will come in handy in coming months. In the Temple town of Tirupati, there will be no drinking water shortage as all the reservoirs are full. With Pattiseema waters and now these rains, Seema farmers can be relieved a bit.
