Venkaiah defends Chandrababu’s Super capital strategy!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s dream of building a Super capital in 30000 acres is being criticized by other political parties. Most of them say the capital should be confined to government buildings and development should be decentralized and there are demands that the capital should be confined to just 2000-3000 acres.

However Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu refuted such claims and defended Naidu’s view of Super Capital. “I have toured many countries in recent times and have seen their capitals. Our capital city should have some attractions along with the usual amenities. Having mere government building will not get us investments”, Venkaiah Naidu said in a private program.

Venkaiah mentioned that if Gandhinagar type of capital is followed, there will not be anybody in the capital by evening. He requested farmers of Tullur Mandal to behave wise and contribute the capital. He asked them not to forget that these rates will fall down all of a sudden if the capital is moved to some other place. He advised them not to listen to those (opposition parties) poisoning their minds.
