Naidu upset with Naidu!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu are long term friends even though they are in different parties since the start. There are allegations from BJP leaders themselves that Venkaiah did not allow BJP to grow in the state due to his friendship with Chandrababu.

However Venkaiah is reportedly genuinely upset with Chandrababu this time. The Andhra Pradesh CM clearly stated to BJP high command that he can not accomodate Venkaiah for Rajya Sabha this time as the state is seething in anger over Center’s refusal for Special Status. At the same time, a big agitation is on in Karnataka against nominating Venkaiah for one more term from the state.

Venkaiah is of the opinion all this mess is due to Naidu’s apprehension to nominate him and is upset with him. He is also upset for not reining some TDP leaders from commenting him in Special Status mess. That may be the reason for Venkaiah Naidu’s objection to Amaravati model of development, BJP and TDP leaders say.
