Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu is seriously trying to help his own state Andhra Pradesh from the after effects of state division. The Senior BJP leader personally wrote letters to his cabinet colleagues requesting them to help AP in development. It is said that he has written letters to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, HRD Minister Smriti Irani and Commerce Minister Niramala Sita Raman requesting to release of funds under various schemes and quick disposal of various permission requests.
Venkaiah also asked Chandra Babu to prepare proposals regarding the development projects in AP. He would personally accompany the officials to concerned ministers and make sure the works are approved on time and funds are release as quickly as possible. On the other side, Telangana leaders are accusing Venkaiah of showing favoritism towards AP and neglecting Telangana. They accuse that both the Naidus (Chandra Babu Naidu and Venkaiah Naidu) are conspiring against Telangana.
