Serial shiftings of prominent leaders are hurting BRS badly ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Yesterday, the party’s Warangal contestant Kadiyam Kavya withdrew her contention and resigned from the BRS Party.
She, along with her father Kadiyam Srihari, will join Congress soon. Kadiyam Srihari would contest from Warangal, representing Congress.
Now, BRS is struggling to find a suitable candidate for Warangal. If the latest reports are anything to go by, the party is planning to field Babu Mohan in this constituency.
Babu Mohan, who was an ex-BRS member, has recently joined KA Paul’s Praja Shanti Party and announced his contention from Warangal.
We hear that BRS leaders are planning to pull Babu Mohan on their side as they find him a suitable candidate. Reportedly, BRS chief KCR had a phone call with Babu Mohan and assured him of the ticket. Babu Mohan is expected to decide on the same in a couple of days.
