Great! Arrest Took Longer Than Bail

The liquor baron Vijay Mallya, who reportedly owe Rs. 9000 crores, was arrested in the morning around 9.30 in London. While the news spread in India, the London Court issued him the bail within three hours of his arrest as reported by CNN.

He was presented at the Westminster Magistrates’ Court, post the extraction warrant arrest today and was released on the basis of stringent conditions as the reports say. ED official stated that the agenda was to secure his presence and this is a part of expected proceedings and the authorities.

Vijay Mallya has also tweeted that the arrest reports are just the usual Media Hype. India has submitted the extradition request to the UK commission a couple of weeks ago and Delhi court has issued a Non-Bailable warrant against the liquor baron last week. And finally, he was attested today in the morning and yet was released in no time.
