Vijaya Sai Reddy, who was once a very close associate for former chief minister YS Jagan has launched his own political campaign in the state. He announced that his new political party would be coming to action very soon and more details would be revealed correspondingly.
In the meanwhile, something is happening with regard to the kind of allegations that Vijaya Sai has been making against Jagan.
With his latest revelation, Vijaya Sai has revealed that it was a common practice in YSR Congress to change the religions in order to appease Jaganmohan Reddy.
Reddy even shared an old video of a YCP senior leader instructing a massive gathering of Christians to vote for Jagan, as he says Andhra Pradesh should have a Christian CM like Jagan for the community to prosper.
I am urging the political parties in the state BJP, TDP, Jana Sena, Congress, CPI, CPM, and other political parties to clearly state their stance on this speech delivered by a former, senior YSR Congress Party MLA ahead of the 2024 elections, Vijaya Sai posted.
In this video that was shared by Sai Reddy, we clearly see a YCP senior leader addressing a massive Christian gathering and saying that AP must have a Christian CM like Jagan in power.
Moreover, I am urging that whoever is now number one in YSR Congress explain how many leaders changed their religion in the past to woo Jagan for their MLA tickets, and later for ministerial positions in the government, he added.
This is a strong indication that several YCP leaders shifted from Hinduism to Christianity in order to be in the good books of Jagan and get MLA tickets and minister positions.
Had this come from any other external sources, there would not have been as much debate happening, but considering that Vijaya Sai is very close to Jagan, he would have first hand knowledge on this. This is adding a lot of authenticity to his comments now.
