Bizarre Choices to Steady Congress in Telangana?

Congress high command is thinking on the lines of changing PCC President of Telangana and sources say the party is brooding on two choices as the replacement. We are said that former Cricket Mohammed Azharuddin and Vijaya Shanthi are in the race for the Top post of the Telangana Congress.

Both these choices are said to be bizzare as both of them are totally new to the affairs of the party in Telangana. Vijaya Shanthi joined Congress just before 2014 elections and is mostly inactive in politics after losing last elections. Azharuddin on the other side, except for the fact residing in Hyderabad, the banned Cricketer never really had a connection with Telangana Congress or people here.

Both these choices are new to Congress and can not command the old and senior leaders of the party. But then Congress is hoping that Azhar may bring in Muslim voters towards the party while Vijaya Shanthi with her cine glamour and dare devil attitude, could take the party in to people effectively.
