Central gov. doling out 330 Cr for temple flyover

The much awaited Durga Temple flyover in Vijayawada is finally happening. The project is estimated at 444 Crore and the central government had agreed to fund 330 Crore while the state government have to bear the rest of the 114 Crores.

The local administration is gearing up to complete the Tendering process by this month and begin construction. The DPR of this project was recently submitted to the center and it was approved. This flyover will come up to the stretch of 2.5 Kms.

Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada is likely to record sensational footfalls for the upcoming Krishna Pushkaralu in August next year. Before that the state government is planning to complete the Durga Temple flyover which is the reason for the traffic snarls there over the years.
