Vijayawada to get lost sheen from Hyderabad

Decades earlier, Vijayawada and Guntur used to be hub of educational institutions. However increase in the population of Hyderabad and advent of companies there, developed it on educational front and took the sheen out of Vijayawada and Guntur. However the state bifurcation is bringing back the past glory.

The government had already announced that the shifting of employees will begin from 27th June. Suddenly the demand for the admissions in schools of Vijayawada and Guntur increased. Various coaching centers are also coming up. Several schools, colleges and coaching centers are expected to come up in both these cities by next academic year once the flow starts.

Nearly 21000 employees would shift to Velagapudi by the end of next month. It is expected that many of them will keep their children in Hyderabad for the first year and are only contemplating change by the next academic year. On the other side, the employees are requesting the government to promote CBSE schools in the capital region which would enable their children not to travel to Vijayawada or Guntur.
