Vijaysai Reddy’s Car Attacked With Chappals and Stones

Miscreants have vandalized the statue of Lord Rama in the ancient Temple in Ramatheerdham. This is the latest of several such incidents that happened in Andhra Pradesh under Jagan rule. Opposition Leader Chandrababu Naidu is touring Ramatheertham and BJP also called for Chalo Ramatheertham.

High tension prevailed there as YSR Congress MP Vijayasai Reddy also arrived there. But then, things went bad as the locals attacked the MP’s car raising slogans against him. They even pelted stones and chappals at his car. Vijay Sai Reddy had to leave the car and walk away with the support of the police.

Since there is a lot of tension in the air, police remained as a mute spectator since the crowd is going out of control. On the other side, police tried their level best to create hurdles for Chandrababu Naidu’s convoy reaching Ramatheertham but the TDP chief arrived there.

On the other side, a few TDP families came before the media and alleged that their men were taken to police custody and the department is forcing them to accept the crime of vandalizing the statue to throw the blame on TDP.
