Viral: BRS Candidate’s Emotional Blackmail

Telangana elections are under 48 hours from now as the polls are to be held on 30 November. The election campaigning will draw to a close in a few minutes and with this being the final day for campaigns, candidates are leaving no stone unturned to attract the voters.

This time around, BRS candidate from the much-anticipated Huzurabad constituency Padi Kaushik Reddy has resorted to emotional blackmail in his election campaign.

Addressing the crowd at his meeting today, Kaushik Reddy said “If you elect me as your MLA, I will go on a celebratory campaign on the 4th of December. If you don’t elect me, you will see the Sava Yatra (Cremation journey) of me and my family members”.

The BRS candidate even pointed at his female family members when he referred to the Sava Yatra. He implied that he and his family members would be no more if the people of Huzurabad don’t elect him.

Kaushik is taking on BJP’s Eatala Rajendar who is one of the stronger candidates in Telangana elections. So, now he has resorted to ugly emotional blackmail by threatening to take his life and those of his family members if the voters don’t pick him.
