Visakhapatnam suitable to host Assembly session?

A committee under the leadership of Achanta MLA, Pithani Satyanarayana had toured Vishakapatnam and examined the possibilities of hosting Assembly sessions there. Up on the instructions of the speaker, the committee toured Gitams and Andhra University to see if there are facilities to host the assembly session.

After the tour, Pithani said that basic amenities in Vishakapatnam are satisfactory and they will inform the same to the Speaker who will take the final decision. The next assembly session will take place from August 31st to September 4th.

Government is of the primary opinion that going to Vishakapatnam for a small session may prove to be costly affair. On the other side, experts are also of the same opinion as YSR Congress had already decided to stall the proceedings of the house.
