While their Hyderabad Counterparts are known for the extreme activity on Facebook, Vishakapatnam Police Facebook page was just left launched staring with out any updates. It is said that the lack of technical knowledge among the staff as the reason for this in-activeness.

Most of the times, they post no update or a single update per day. And in many occasions, the updates are photos regarding traffic awareness, precautions and safety. The important and expected updates regarding traffic congestion in the city, plans to improve traffic movement, road mishaps, patrolling and other related programmes are totally absent.

Also the Facebook page is proving to be totally helpless in helping the people get answers to their queries. Usually there should be a separate technical wing to deal with grievances redressal but only one traffic sub-inspector of police through his personal e-mail id is managing the page.
