Amaravati’s First Step Towards World Class City Dream

Amaravati has got its first investment. The renowned Vellore Institute of Technology is setting up its new campus in the proposed capital city and the foundation stone for this campus was laid this morning. VIT management has asked for 300 acres and the state government has sanctioned 200 Crore for this first University to set up the campus in Amaravati, the new capital of Sunrise Andhra Pradesh. The VIT campus will start operating from the next academic year, in July 2017. The University will issue B. Tech. application forms from November 9.

There will be a special entrance test and it is mandatory. The Government of India had ranked VIT as the best private engineering institution in its maiden ranking of higher education institutions. With a world class education coming up, there will be ample availability of skilled employment and with that investments will automatically.
