Vizag MP Seat: Purandeshwari Vs GVL

The fist fight for the Vizag MP seat has already started internally in BJP Andhra Pradesh wing, say latest reports.

Purandeshwari, who was previously operating as the general secretary of the party has been promoted as AP BJP wing chief and she has started to take over the reigns now.

In a new development, it is understood that Purandeshwari intends to contest from Vizag parliamentary position in the next election. With her being AP BJP chief, it shouldn’t be too big of a problem for her to get the desired ticket. She contested from there in the last election and wishes to do the same this year.

But there’s a catch here. Another BJP AP wing senior GVL Narasimha Rao is also hopeful of getting Vizag MP ticket, it seems.

GVL is also a BJP veteran and he is one of the trusted leaders of the party. It has to be seen if he can influence his party top brass to give him Vizag MP ticket.

With YCP sitting MP from Vizag, MVV Satyanarayana implying that he could be moving to Hyderabad soon. The Vizag parliamentary elections have garnered attention.
