Will Vizag people teach BJP a strong lesson?

During the 2014 elections, Vishakapatnam people have given a stunning mandate which saw BJP candidate, Haribabu to win against YSR Congress Honorary President, YS Vijayamma. This is only after believing that BJP will stand for the development of the state and the city. But BJP is deceiving the city from day one.

When a huge calamity struck Vishakapatnam in the form of Hudhud, Center did not even give half of the 1000 Crore relief package announced by the Prime Minister. Later they went back on the promise of Separate Railway Zone with Vishakapatnam as headquarters and now threw a cruel joke on the city by allocating just Three Lakhs for the Metro Rail Project proposed in the city.

Greater Vishakapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) elections are couple of months away. With their 2014 win, BJP pinned high hopes on winning considerable number of seats in the corporation. But with this repeated backstabing, the people will teach them a lesson for sure. The big question is that if TDP will also share the anger by contesting together with BJP.
