Voting Mandatory on Telangana Bill – KKR Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy made a sensational revelation today. KKR who was absent from today’s Assembly due to ill health revealed that he received a letter from Government of India that it is mandatory that the opinion of members is necessary on every clause of Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Bill. It implies that voting is compulsory on every clause of the bill. KKR also revealed that similar letter was sent to Speaker too.

Kiran Kumar Reddy also revealed that he will be introducing the letter in Assembly tomorrow. If this is true, it will be a master stroke since Seema Andhra MLAs are more in number in the house. If the bill is defeated, Government of India may not go forward on state bifurcation. Never in the history of India, a state is divided with out the consent of its state Assembly. So, tomorrow’s Assembly proceedings will be very interesting.
