Weather becomes dampener for Capital farmers!

Andhra Pradesh government had decided to postpone the important Plots allotment to farmers who have given their lands for Amaravati under Land Pooling Scheme. The much awaited allotment was to happen from Nelapadu village from this evening, but incessant rains in the area forced the postponement.

The government and CRDA has decided to postpone the allotment in order to make sure farmers are not at discomfort. Municipal Minister Narayana had announced that they will announce a new date very soon according to the weather. The plots allotment will happen through computerized lottery system.

The exercise will continue for next few months until all the villages are covered and it will be followed by Land Acquisition for the bits and pieces of land that are not given for Pooling. Nearly 20000 farmers have participated in the land pooling scheme in 28 villages of the upcoming capital area.
