What Are Experts Saying About Nandhyal By-Elections?

Nandhyal by-election polling is done and dusted. The counting will happen on Monday and the results will be out on the same day. Everyone is agreeing the fact that the election is fiercely contested but the opinion of the Political Experts is largely tilted towards TDP.

Ground Reality is that By-Elections are always in favor of the ruling governments since the electorate has worked with the government for its remaining tenure. Surprisingly, Minorities are also with TDP this time. Given all these factors, it may be a cakewalk for TDP with only a majority going to be the difference.

In these circumstances, experts say unless the mood of the electorate is changed at the last minute, YSR Congress may not win. Nothing has happened of such sort. Considering all these factors, if YSR Congress still managed to win this election, it will boost its morale big time.
