What If Jagan Problem Extends To October?

It looks like the stalemate in the Telugu film industry due to the ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh may continue for a while. AP Government has indicated a possible meeting with the Chief Minister this month-end but the CMO is not confirming the appointment.

Inside sources say that the meeting is not happening any sooner. The makers of Naga Chaitanya’s Love Story have decided to postpone their film to September-end or October. They have already lost Vinayaka Chaviti season due to Tuck Jagadish.

They see no point in releasing the film with no holiday advantage and while the stalemate is still on in Andhra Pradesh. Industry wants the issue to be resolved in September at any cost. In case it extends up to October, there is a danger for Dussehra releases.

TFI can not afford to lose Dussehra because there will be no holidays advantage until Sankranthi. The industry badly needs Dussehra to offload a few big films.
