What Is Happening in Amaravati – M9News Ground Report

M9.news is bringing you a truth which no other main-stream media ventured to show you. While they say nothing is happening at Ground Zero in Amaravati, Things seem to be very different. There is a visible change in the Capital Area and the locals are very happy with that. M9News team visited the area and finds change happening rapidly. Trust us, Naidu is not bluffing when he said he will show drastic change for next Dussehra.

Security @ Interim Secretariat

Special Protection Force had taken over the area and anyone are not allowed until there is an identity card or appointment. Even the construction workers are asked to present their ID Cards. There are Two Gates at the left and right of the Secretariat entrance. There are sign boards leading the visitors to find their destination.

Five Buildings are almost completed and are being given final touches. You can see them in the gallery. The construction got completed in record time of Seven months and the employees are already at work. Ministers have also started occupying their chambers. All the buildings are centralized air conditioning as there is lot of activity going on outside we see all windows closed. Assembly is the last building that is being constructed and it should be complete by the end of this year. The campus will pretty much look like a mini IT park once the construction folks move out in the next few months.

Government is making things extremely comfortable for employees at the interim secretariat. The roads are completed and the buses are directly picking up the employees from the secretariat. These areas barely have any roads previously. All the roads leading to the interim secretariat are being widened with blocking constructions being razed.

Just outside the Secretariat building, there is Anna Canteen which is well maintained. The construction workers at the site and the villagers living close by are filling their tummies here. Low prices yet very well maintained like a private fast food service.

In a bid to turn the Capital area into a blue-green city, the beautification is going on at a brisk pace. We have come across a lake which is well maintained and has a walking track which is almost ready. The landscaping work is nearing the completion. We have seen the locals enjoying there in the evenings.

Roads widening plays big role here while it is still going on in several areas of the city. First Mc Donalds (we have pics above), Posh malls, restaurants welcome you to the city. One can see a ton of construction activity mostly apartments in and around the city, you will be surprised to see few iconic apartments being built and priced over 2 Crore.
