What is in Roja’s letter?

YSR Congress MLA, Roja’s suspension issue is back to square one again. The other day, Supreme Court asked the government to give her a chance to apologize. But Roja is firm on her stand taken earlier. Roja’s lawyer submited the letter of explanation to the Supreme Court and copy was also given to the government counsel.

In the letter, Roja only mentioned that she is taking back the comments she made on that day. She went on saying that she is fighting for women and it is the government which tried to make an issue out of nothing, only because it could not counter her and the issues she is taking up in the house.

Government counsel expressed its displeasure over the letter which showed Roja is not repenting for her actions. The court asked the letter to be handed over to Assembly secretary so that the speaker can discuss it in the next session. The court also clarified that the Speaker is free to decide on the future course of action.
