What is the Future of 2000 Note?

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley informed the Parliament that there is no proposal of withdrawing the newly introduced 2000 Notes. Since the time 2000 Notes are introduced, there were rumours that they will making hoarding easy and will be withdrawn for sure.

Economic experts, however, say there is a chance that the government will not demonetize 2000 Notes as the previous case but will be withdrawing all the 2000 Notes that come to the bank and replace them with smaller denomination notes.

They say if that is not done, black money hoarding will become easy in the long run. On the other side, the cash crunch that followed after Demonetization is refusing to die down. We are seeing ‘No Cash’ Boards every now and then even though the situation had eased a bit in the last couple of months.
