What is the Plan of Congress in Andhra Pradesh?

Congress Party reportedly commissioned A Secret Survey in Andhra Pradesh about the consequences of an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party. Both the parties are contesting together in Telangana Elections and Chandrababu Naidu is being used as a facilitator for the party at the National Level to unite anti-BJP forces.

In the wake of this, the party high command is taking the opinion of the party cadre and the leaders. Congress in the current shape can not even win a single seat in the state in 2019 elections as well. So, the party should not be extravagant in demanding the seats. Hence the plan is to take a few winnable seats and also accommodate the Seniors who stick to the party in nominated posts after the elections.

Sonia Gandhi had announced the commitment to the Special Status right from Telangana if voted to Power in 2019. The party hopes to do better on this plank in the coming election. Political Experts believe that this announcement was intentionally made so as to clear route for the alliance with TDP.

The Cycle Party can no longer be questioned for joining hands with the party responsible for the Bifurcation. Chandrababu has started claiming that Andhra Pradesh needs the handholding of the Center to get the Special status and other assistance. Since BJP already proved to be unreliable, TDP has extended the arm to Congress keeping aside the decades of rivalry aside.
