What Naidu and Modi speak for over an hour?

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu met Prime Minister Narendra Modi a short while ago in Delhi. Given the sensational political developments in both the Telugu States over the last few days, this meeting had come under immense media glare.

Parakala Prabhakar and other MPs accompanied Naidu to the Prime Minister but they were left waiting outside when Naidu and Modi had a one to one meeting for a long time. The details of the meeting were not clear but it is not difficult to guess it will be about the Cash for Vote and Phone tapping controversies gripping the state. Many political analysts believe that Modi’s political decision will be crucial in these cases.

It is said that Naidu explained the Prime Minister that his government had evidences that 120 phones of himself, Ministers and Key Leaders were tapped and pressed the need of implementing Section 8 of AP Reorganization Act which will give the Law and Order responsiblity of Hyderabad to the Governor. After Modi’s meeting, Naidu went on to meet Home Minister, Rajnath Singh.
