What next for Lok Satta and AAP in AP?

Change seeking and advocating parties like Lok Satta and Aam Admi Party have suffered severe blows in the Friday announced election results.Both the parties have lost deposits in all the places they contested irrespective of the region. Lok Satta’s founder Jaya Prakash Narayan who contested for Malkajgiri Parliament lost his deposit as well ending up in fourth place. Aam Admi Party did not even manage to get more votes than the newly introduced NOTA button in more than 90% places they contested.

JP had resigned for his National Party President carrying the responsibility for the loss. Aam Admi Party do not have any notable names in its ranks even to be held for the responsibility. Unless Narendra Modi instill JP in some position of his government, things will get even tougher for Lok Satta in coming days. And as far as Aam Admi Party it is the end of journey in AP at least.
