WhatsApp Job Interviews now in discussion

The recruitment process has taken new turn after the widespread of technology. Six students from the Xavier Institute of Communications, Mumbai, were in for a surprise after they found that their mobile numbers were added by their employer in WhatsApp group.

Then the employer, Gurgaon-based creative director, interviewed them for an internship program. He had given them specific tasks in which creativity spells the cream of the people. He took the interview in Whatsapp because of the reason that the job requires creativity which can only be possible in best way by creating a comfort atmosphere . All the six were selected by recruiter. This type of interviews will reduce the Paperwork and travelling times, the creative head of the advertising company opined.

The students are very comfortable in the tech savy platforms in these days thus making leading recruiters to interview from internet tools like Skype, Linkedin, facebook etc. But Whatsapp interview this may be the first instance.
