When You Don’t Know, Why To Talk, Ambati?

The newly appointed Water Resources Minister Ambati Rambabu tried to exhibit his expertise before the media but only got embarrassed.

Interacting to the media after taking charge on Thursday, Ambati said the Diaphragm wall of the Polavaram project constructed during Chandrababu’s regime got damaged and they should take responsibility.

“Diaphragm wall is a must for every project. A diaphragm wall is there in Srisailam, Nagarjuna Sagar, Tungabhadra, and Bakranangal but it did not get damaged there,” Ambati said.

The media personnel immediately corrected him there is no Diaphragm wall in those projects. But Ambati did not agree. Even after doing twice, Ambati repeated there is a Diaphragm wall in all projects.

After the media’s repeated insistence, he asked an adviser about it and learned his mistake.

“I am not an engineer or contractor. I will have to study the projects. I am addressing the media just on the briefing of the Information Department,” Ambati explained.

The minister exposed his lack of knowledge right on the day of taking charge and got embarrassed before the media.

“When you do not know, Why to talk, Ambati?,” YSR Congress fans are lamenting.
