Where does he salute on R-Day.. AP or TS?

Given his vast experience in dealing the Telangana agitation issue, Governor ESL Narasimhan is continued for both the Telugu States even after the state bifurcation. Andhra Pradesh is gearing up to move out of the common capital as soon as possible. Now the interesting issue is regarding the Republic day celebrations in both the states. Andhra Pradesh has celebrated the Independence day in the truncated state and now they will do the same with Republic day.

According to the custom, governor of a state will be taking the salute in the state capital soon after the President takes it in Delhi. However as Narasimhan is the governor of both the states, it is interesting to see what he does to take the salute in both the states.

Telangana government for sure will hold the Republic Day parade on January 26 in Hyderabad and the Chandrababu Naidu’s government will be holding it either in Visakhapatnam or the Guntur region. Given the animosity of Telangana Chief Minister with his Andhra counterpart, a joint Republic day Parade is almost ruled out.Flying one venue to other will not be possible due to time restraint as the second event will be delayed as he would have to unfurl the Tricolour, review the parade and then deliver his address.
