White topping for Hyderabad Roads!

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has decided to use modern technology to improve the quality of roads in Hyderabad. White topping was being used widely in Europe, US and some countries in the Asia, the topping will improve the durability of roads.

The concept was recently introduced in cities such as Bangalore, Mumbai and Chennai, and is yielding good results there. GHMC is planning to introduce this new technology for few selected road corridors and adopt it to all the roads phase by phase.

The new technology is definitely costly but will prove productive compared to the current BT roads which were repeatedly coming for repairs causing hardships for road users. The roads will become cost effective in the long run. The corporation is currently busy in preparing the estimations for such roads.
