Whopping 1500 Cr for Vijayawada’s Beautification!

Even though the next capital of Andhra Pradesh falls totally in Guntur district, Vijayawada which is located in close proximity will also feel the pinch. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister is ambitious about the beautification of the city and has announced a plan of 1500 Crore for that purpose alone.

The CM has ordered the officials to clear canal banks of all encroachments on a war footing. There are several poor dwellers in the canal bunds and government is planning to build a township after their eviction.

Also the government is planning to widen all the roads in the city into four lane to facilitate smooth traffic. The government is also etching the plans to develop Gannavaram airport at a cost Rs 50 crore.
