Why Only Lokesh? Jagan’s Choppers?

It’s been a week since the Election Commission announced the schedule for Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections. The Model Code of Conduct came into effect immediately after that.

Nara Lokesh is currently campaigning in his Mangalagiri constituency. In this one week, local police have checked Lokesh’s Convoy twice. No big leader’s convoy has been searched ever since the code came into effect.

Usually, the official machinery goes into the Election Commission’s control after the Code. But then, the Ruling Party still will have a say because the appointments are made in favor of them. The Election Commission did not make any changes after the Code.

So, TDP suspects this is the work of a few officials to impress Jagan Mohan Reddy.

This also indicates the Ruling Government is very much worried about losing Mangalagiri.

In the name of a non-existent Naxal threat, Jagan Mohan Reddy hired two helicopters from Public money to meet the flying commitments of the Chief Minister. It is an open fact that the Government will fund Jagan’s flying charges during the elections.

It has to be seen how many times these choppers will be checked when Jagan begins his campaign!
