Revanth Reddy has stumped the seniors in the party to become the President of Telangana PCC. Several Senior leaders like Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Jagga Reddy, and others have openly expressed their disappointment with the decision of the Congress high command.

Revanth Reddy has revealed the actual decision behind his appointment. “Telangana politics these days is just like T20 Cricket. Since a majority of the population is between the 18-35 age group, to gain traction among them, I am entrusted the task of working hard and hit out,” Revanth revealed.

He also added he has a good rapport with Rahul Gandhi and the latter has good confidence in him. As it is evident after the appointment, the party cadre is rejuvenated and are excited over the appointment. But then, the party leaders especially the seniors are continuing to stay away from him.

The upcoming Huzurabad by-election will be the first test for Revanth Reddy. It has to be seen how Congress will stand ground in an election that will be fiercely contested by TRS and BJP.
