Why Singapore is the best choice for Capital Master Plan!

When Chandrababu Naidu had given the responsibility of Master Plan design to Singapore Government, there were doubts all over why a foreign country should be given such opportunity and why not a company from our country. However all these questions were answered when Singapore Government team submitted the first phase Master Plan to the CM.

The 7,325 sq km Capital Region Plan is the first of the three-stage master plan. A brief look at the plan will give an idea regarding the care that has gone in to preparing it. At this juncture, the entire region has nothing in terms of a World Class Capital, but the Experts team made a perfect blend of futuristic thinking and ground reality and prepare the plan to serve the purpose and aspirations for the next few 100s of years. An official travelling with Naidu was truly amazed by the Singapore Team’s clarity and said people will completely blown up once the Master Plan in made public.

According to the proposal of the phase 1 master plan, Nuzividu, Nandigama, Tenali and Sattenapally are to be urbanized. The area around Pamarru, Gudivada, Guntur and Tenali are to be developed into an agriculture zone and a greenfield airport is to come up at Mangalagiri. As per the plan, there will be a dedicated high speed rail connection between Gannavaram and the core capital city. The Phase2 and Phase3 of the Master Plan will be submitted by June end.
