Why still BJP had to entertain its allies?

BJP now had the MPs number more than the required majority. Many say the party can now dump its allies with out offering them good number of ministries or special funds for their allies ruled states but it can not be true. Yes BJP had absolute majority in Lok Sabha so that they can move any bill comfortably in the lower house of Parliament. But the party do not enjoy the same privilege in the Upper House.

Congress still has good numbers in Rajya Sabha. BJP will only have opportunity to bag more numbers there after 2 years. So, in order to move the bills in Rajya Sabha safely, Modi still have to depend on other NDA partners in Rajya Sabha. Also this is a phenomenal success which may not be replicated again in the age of coalition politics. So, Modi will still keep his allies close even for long term goals.
