Will Anam Agree To Chandrababu’s Proposal?

Former Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy was in TDP before 2019. But before the elections, he dumped TDP and joined YSR Congress. But he struggled to get in the party. Even after winning as MLA, Anam could not stand the insults in the party.

He ditched the party four months ago and voted against the party candidate in the recent MLA-quota MLC elections.

Anam did not join TDP and so there is no clarity about his political future.

His followers are saying Anam will settle for nothing less than Atmakuru or Venkatagiri assembly tickets.

But there are rumors in the TDP district party that Anam will be fielded as Nellore MP candidate.

They say a senior like Anam contesting as Nellore MP will have a positive impact on all the eight assembly segments under the MP constituency.

Meanwhile, Anam is busy in Atmakuru only, attending marriages and other functions in the constituency. He is also getting close with the TDP cadre in his constituency indicating that he is interested in Atmakuru only.

On the other hand, YSR Congress high command is targeting small leaders previously close to Anam and is attracting them into the party to checkmate the senior-most leader.
