Will Be A Mass Exodus of Leaders from TRS to BJP?

Dubbaka by-election had shaken the Political eco-system of Telangana. A party like BJP which is considered as a distant third in Telangana Politics defeating the Ruling TRS in its strong forte is something unimaginable.

While it underlines the fact that TRS is not keeping its ears on to the ground, it will rejuvenate BJP ahead of the GHMC Elections. Congress which came third in the election is likely to lose more of its leaders to BJP. It will start with Vijayashanthi who will join BJP next week.

Political Experts say a few TRS leaders will also looking to leave the party. “There are many disgruntled leaders in TRS. But the fact that TRS’ winning streak is unstoppable and with no opposition in sight, they did not open up in public,” they say.

“If they see BJP as an alternative, TRS will also lose some leaders before the GHMC elections. If a similar result arrives in GHMC, there will be utter chaos. First things first, it is unlikely that the Government will allow GHMC elections to go on as planned earlier,” they add.
