Will Naidu Allow First Victory for Panner Selvam?

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu suddenly became a central figure of Tamil Politics. There is an open secret power tussle going on in Tamil Nadu between O Paneer Selvam and Sasikala after Jayalalithaa’s demise. Though both the factions are appearing normal, they are plotting in their own ways to have the upper hand.

Paneer Selvam wants to solve the ongoing water crisis for Chennai city and prove his mettle. Last week, he wrote a letter to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister requesting to release water from Telugu Ganga project. He has followed it up immediately with a personal tour to Amaravati.

He met Chandrababu Naidu a little while ago and placed the request once again. But then there are some dues of Tamil Nadu government for the project which Naidu will take up with the Chief Minister. If OPS manages to convince Naidu and get water for Chennai, it will be his first ever victory.
