Will Chiru win hearts of his native village people?

The failure of Chiranjeevi in Politics needs no special mention now. But one of the prime reasons of his political failure is losing the Palakollu seat in his own district in 2009 elections. It was then Chiranjeevi lost from this constituency couple of miles away from his native village, Mogalthuru. There were allegations that Chiranjeevi did nothing to the village despite getting supreme stardom and so much of wealth.

There was an allegation that Chiranjeevi promised to donate his old house for the village library but later sold it for a paltry sum of 50000. And these allegations and the Palakollu defeat will continue to haunt Chiranjeevi through out his life. But the actor turned politician is now trying to make amends for his bad image in his native.

He announced that he will adopt the Perupalem village, 2 Kms away from Mogalthuru in Sansad Adarsh Grama Yojana scheme. He will be using his MPLADS Funds for drinking water, Primary Health Services, Housing and other development schemes of the village. We will have to see if he wins back the hearts of his native village people with this step.
