Will Eagle Get Due Justice Today?

Ravi Teja’s Eagle was supposed to release last Sankranthi season but got postponed at the last minute with the larger interests of other films like Guntur Kaaram, Saindhav, and Naa Sami Ranga in consideration.

Back then, the Producers Council promised a solo release for Eagle whenever it wanted later in the year. Now, the film picked February 9 as the release date and sadly for the team, there is no solo release.

Oori Peru Bhairavakona which was already announced for release on February 9 is not backing down from the release. This is also a medium-budget film and it can’t afford to push the release date further as it will result in increased costs and also the chance of finding an optimal release date later is tough. However, the Council has opened talks with the makers of the film hoping to convenience it to postpone.

But at the same time, there is Yatra 2 is also up for release on the same day. But the film is produced by the top-billed UV Creations and also has the blessings of YCP, being the biopic of Jagan Reddy. So there is no disturbance for this film which has also locked the February 9 slot.

As things stand, the promise of a solo release for Eagle is not being held up. The council has called for a meeting today and more clarity will emerge once this is done.
