Contaminated areas that are exposed to direct sunlight might have lesser risk compared to the contaminated indoor areas. So, Increasing the temperature and humidity of the contaminated indoor areas might help to reduce the risk.

The emerging lab results from the current situations suggest that the virus starts decaying when exposed to various elements and sunlight is one of them. This also decreases the half-life of the virus, i.e., the life of the virus is cut in half.

Going by these emerging lab suggestions from the US scientists, can we safely assume that Indians would be safer as it is Summer and the temperatures have really been soaring high?

We are talking about the external conditions, but the contaminated interiors with dry conditions will pose the risk without the benefits of the exposure to the sun.
