Will Jagan Address His First Ever Press Conference at Least Now?

Well, in a rather brutal shock to AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, the TDP recently won three graduate MLC seats in Rayalaseema. After a clean sweep in graduate MLC elections, TDP won a seat in today’s MLA-quota MLC elections as well. This clearly is the most embarrassing moment for YS Jagan, who surely is not able to gauge the damage that is going to happen in the future.

While this is a huge boost to the morale of the TDP cadre, it is exactly the opposite as far as YSRCP is concerned. The embarrassing loss clearly shows Jagan’s lack of vision.

After he became CM, Jagan has never held a press conference in these four years. He never shared with the people of AP his vision on three capitals or how he wants to develop Vizag and Kurnool along with Amaravati. He never gave any clarity about the Polavaram project’s status, and what happened to the Special Status he used to call it a life line for the state before coming into the power.

Any leader, after such a humiliating loss, would have definitely come out and spoken to the people of the state and tried to win back their confidence. But Jagan, who considers himself above everyone, never came out and held a press conference.

Will he at least come out of his now and address the various issues that are plaguing the people of Andhra Pradesh? Will he now address the public, give clarity or at least his thoughts on various issues and give some push to the cadre who are now deeply concerned about the 2024 elections?

If Jagan doesn’t address the public even now, then it will be a moral defeat for his party members and cadre. Public will see him as arrogant.
