Will KCR-Naidu resolve the deadlock?

Center is planning to convene a meeting of the Chief Ministers of both the Telugu States to solve the issue of High Court division. The issue became complicated after Judicial officers and judges of Telangana took to roads for the past few days agitating for the immediate division of the high court.

Union Law Minister Sadananda Gowda will chair this meeting which will also be attended by Governor ESL Narasimhan. Invitations will be sent to both the Chief Ministers in a day or two. Earlier the center wanted to have this meeting in Hyderabad itself in the presence of the Governor.

But then both the Chief Ministers insisted on having in Delhi in the presence of the Center. On the other side, Chief Justice of India will meet the JAC of Telangana Judicial officers in Delhi in a short while from now. JAC will bring their objections to his notice, over the appointment of Andhra native officers and judges in Hyderabad high court. They will demand immediate separation of high court between both the Telugu states.
