Will Modi Give It to TDP or Loyalist?

Rosaiah’s term as Tamil Nadu Governor ended the other day and Maharashtra Governor Ch. Vidya Sagar Rao is appointed as the Incharge Governor. Central government will very soon appoint full time governor for Tamil Nadu. Chief Minister Jayalalithaa is keen on having Rosaiah for another term but Modi government is not keen on continuing the UPA appointee.

Buzz is that Modi government may allot this to TDP as a promise made to the party earlier. In such case, TDP (TS) Senior Leader, Mothukupalli Narasimhulu may be the top contender. There are also rumours Anandiben Patel who recently resigned as Gujarat Chief Minister may also be given the chance.

Anandiben Patel is known to be a loyalist to Modi and took the reins of Gujarat after Modi went to Delhi. On the other side, no second term for Rosaiah may be the end of the vetern politician’s illutrious career. Rosaiah has the record of introducing AP Budget for 16 times as Finance Minister and also worked as CM of the state after YSR’s death.
