It was a day of two contrasting things in the Supreme Court for two big Telugu politicians.
The Apex Court struck down KTR’s Quash Petition in the Formula-E case and refused to interfere at this stage.
A different bench in the SC struck down the previous Government’s petition to cancel Chandrababu’s bail in the Skill Development Case.
KTR has expired all the legal options now and all the decks are cleared for his arrest. From now on, his arrest can happen anytime.
Everyone remembers the infamous ‘Standup Comedy’ tweet of KTR on the day of Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest. Later, we saw him trouble the people protesting against the Former Chief Minister’s arrest in Hyderabad.
That did not go well with the TDP Supporters in Telangana and they voted en masse to Congress in the 2023 Assembly Elections. Even though KTR tried to do some last-minute damage control, they did not agree.
Now it is interesting to see how Lokesh responds if KTR is arrested.
The party supporters definitely want a similar time. But Chandrababu is known for his political niceties and may not allow it to happen.
Moreover, Lokesh always tried to be nice to KTR despite the latter showing his arrogance.
Also, they would not want to upset Revanth Reddy and spoil ties with the neighboring Government.
In all probability, they will be silent saying it is a matter of the other state.
