Will Pawan Kalyan Films Be Banned on TV?

Election Commission has taken a surprising decision. It has banned the films of Sumalatha and Kannada Hero Nikhil Gowda since they are contesting for Lok Sabha Elections in Mandya. Election Commission is of the opinion that their films on Television can impact the Voters while exercising their vote.

But then, this rule is applicable only for Doordarshan but not for the other Private Channels. It will be interesting to see if the Election Commission will extend the same rule to Pawan Kalyan in Both the Telugu States. It is known that Pawan Kalyan is contesting the elections from his Janasena Party.

Pawan Kalyan himself is contesting from two Assembly Segments – Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram. On the other side, Pawan Kalyan will file his nomination from Gajuwala on 21st of this month i.e., Tomorrow while from Bhimavaram on 22nd. Bhimavaram is the native district of Pawan Kalyan.
