Will Tainted Leader Help YSR Congress?

YSR Congress Supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had started his trials to revive the party in Vijayawada where it is almost dead. We have seen him former Vijayawada West MLA, Vellampalli Srinivas into the party and is now wooing City Congress President Malladi Vishnu, who was a close associate of YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

Vishnu’s image is at all time low after the spurious liquor served in his bar killed several people. It has to be seen if Malladi Vishnu can help YSR Congress in the city. Earlier Jagan tried to bring in Devineni Nehru but then latter opted for TDP sensing that there is no future to YSR Congress.

So, bringing in Malladi Vishnu into the party and making him the face of the party for the city will be a calculated risk. But then Jagan do not have many options. Vishnu joining YSR Congress also means that Congress will lose its lone visible leader for Congress in the city.
