Will Vallabhaneni Vamsi Be Back to Jail?

There is a strong possibility going by the new ruling of Supreme Court. In what comes as a shock to Vamsi, the Supreme Court said that it was not appropriate on the part of AP High Court to give anticipatory bail without listening to AP government’s arguments.

The Supreme Court gave the ruling with regards to the illegal mining case. The AP government had approached the Supreme Court regarding cancellation of anticipatory bail to Vallabhaneni Vamsi in illegal mining case.

The Supreme Court bench made it clear that it was wrong to give bail without hearing to AP government’s arguments. The Apex Court said that the case must be argued afresh.

The Supreme Court directed the AP High Court to take a decision after hearing arguments of both sides. AP’s counsel Mukul Rohatgi told Supreme Court that they will file a counter within a week.

The Supreme Court ordered the AP High Court that the final judgement be given within four weeks after hearing the arguments.

Vallabhaneni Vamsi spent 137 days in jail after being arrested in February. He was released after getting bail in all cases on July 2, from Vijayawada jail.

With the latest development, it appears as if Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s Jail days aren’t over yet.
